Friends and United Way Supporters,

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to Burke County United Way. It's because of you that we've been able to navigate an unprecedented year of growth and change, investing deeply in the people, organizations, and communities that make Burke County stronger.

Burke County United Way has been serving Burke County, NC for nearly 70 years. Created from broad, community stakeholder input, our mission is clear: “Building a stronger Burke County community by empowering self-sufficiency, increasing housing stability, and fostering opportunities and success for youth.” In essence, our programming supports and sustains Strong Families!

With your generous support, in the past year we've continued our vital work of building strong families throughout Burke County, while also initiating relief and recovery efforts to overcome the devastation brought by Hurricane Helene. The enclosed annual report illustrates the breadth and depth of impact made possible by our partners and supporters.

As we move forward into another year of service, we envision a community where all Burke County individuals and families are equipped to live independently and thrive.

Together, we can make Burke County a better community for all, where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. United is the Way!
