Burke's Amazin' Race
Join us on an adventure and support families in Burke County. Burke’s Amazin’ Race is a team-based community scavenger hunt across Downtown Morganton, on Saturday, April 13, 2024!
Teams of 3-5 members, aged 21 +, will compete to collect clues, take on fun challenges, and adventure through our community from 3 pm to 5 pm, ending with an Afterparty & Awards Celebration from 6 pm to 8 pm.
This event supports Burke County United Way’s STRONG Families Initiatives.
Team registration deadline is April 1, 2024!

1BurkeGives is an annual 24-Hour Online Giving Tuesday Event for Burke County, NC nonprofit organizations at 1burkegives.org! The 4th annual 1BurkeGives is on Tuesday, November 28, 2023.
Family Movie Night on the Square
Join us for a FREE family movie night on the Historic Courthouse Square in Downtown Morganton! The featured movie for this event is Clifford the Big Red Dog (rated PG) which will start at * and runs for 1hr and 37 mins. Bring blankets or chairs and the whole family to sprawl out on the lawn!
N.E.A.T. Project Mixer at Fonta Flora
This mixer will be at the near-tail end of our Virtual Fundraiser + Art Auction, dedicated to raising funds for the installation of NEAT Trails at our local walking trails and parks.
Stop by for a craft brew at Fonta Flora Brewery (Downtown Morganton Tasting Room) and to learn more about our amazing project.
Fundraiser + Art Auction - N.E.A.T. Project
This Virtual Fundraiser + Art Auction is dedicated to raising funds for the NEAT Project. Burke County United Way + Foothills Conservancy of North Carolina are partnering to bring NEAT — Nature Engagement Activity Trails — to our local parks and walking trails.
