24-Hour Online Giving Tuesday Event for Burke nonprofits
THE NEXT 1burkegives IS ON GIVING TUESDAY, Decemeber 1, 2026!
1BurkeGives is Burke County's annual 24-hour online GivingTuesday event, designed to support local nonprofit organizations through community-wide giving at 1BurkeGives.org. The event takes place each year on Giving Tuesday, the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, and celebrates the generosity and impact of our local nonprofit community.
All Burke County 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations are eligible to participate, and registration is completely free. Burke County United Way serves as the host of the 1BurkeGives platform but does not receive any portion of the donations raised. Each participating organization creates and manages its own fundraising profile through 1BurkeGives.org, powered by Bonterra, and donations are deposited directly into the organization's bank account.
