Special Events

It's the "Out of the Box" way of raising funds for Burke County United Way and it has exploded into three exciting events with a revenue base of $30,000+. 

• March 31st begins the year with A Winter's End Feast, featuring a smorgasbord of food, live music and golf games. 

• August hosts the 3rd annual Golf Tournament at Mimosa Hills Country Club featuring 18 holes of golf/wine tasting/dinner and dancing. 

• September rounds out the year with Toast of the Town, the premier social gathering of friends and advocates for programs to address child abuse and neglect.  This event is hosted in 6 venues with exciting themes and adventures.
